I approach design as a connected system, where strategy, identity, environment, and experience inform one another.

My background spans community development, marketing, research, and design, shaping a practice that looks beyond individual deliverables to understand the bigger picture: what a business is building, who it serves, and how its ideas can translate into a cohesive experience.

Through Only Else, I work with founders and businesses to find clarity, establish creative direction, and build brands with intention, character, and a point of view.

- Tayler Sim, Founder of Only Else

A CREATIVE PRACTICE FOR THE THINGS WE EXPERIENCE, NOT JUST SEE.

Brands I've worked with

Creativity doesn't need to stay in one category. A brand can shape a space. A space can tell a story. An object can change an environment. An environment can create community.

An experience can bring it all together. The starting point might be a brand, a space, an object, a business, or simply an idea. Only Else looks for what makes something feel like itself, then translates that essence into a world that can be seen, experienced, and remembered.

The medium changes. The connection doesn't.

Designing ecosystems, not just aesthetics.

Curious about the thinking behind the practice?

Making Elsewhere is an ongoing research + design study exploring why we’re drawn to certain spaces, colours, materials, places and feelings — and how our environments shape the way we experience ourselves and the world around us.
